Financing and Assistance
Recycling Market Development Zones (RMDZ)

NOTICE TO ZONE ADMINS:

Attached you will find the flyer and schedule for the 2017 California Financing Coordinating Committee (CFCC) Funding Fairs.  The purpose of the CFCC is to foster cooperation among the seven funding agencies that administer water, wastewater, and other public infrastructure needs.  These Funding Fairs provide the CFCC with an opportunity to present current program information to the public.  This is a great time to promote the RMDZ Loan Program as well as to learn about other business assistance programs that may apply to businesses/projects with whom you are working.  Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with program staff directly.

CFCC agencies primarily fund the following types of infrastructure Projects: drinking water, wastewater, water quality, water supply, water conservation water use efficiency, energy efficiency, and flood management. Some of the participating agencies also fund other types of infrastructure projects including streets and highways, emergency response vehicles, solid waste, and community facilities.

The Funding Fairs are geared for representatives from public works, local governments, and California Native American Tribes, including city managers and planners, economic development and engineering professionals, officials from privately owned facilities, water and irrigation district managers, financial advisors and project consultants.  Zone Administrators are a natural fit here too.   Please fee free to extend this invitation to businesses with whom you are working or you think would otherwise benefit.

CalRecycle Loans staff will be attending each of these funding fairs (see table below) to promote the RMDZ Loan Program.
